I'm originally from a small town not too far from Buffalo, New York but have been in the Atlanta area since 1998. This is my 13th year teaching at Annistown. This year I began my DREAM JOB of teaching Kindergarten! In the past I have taught second and third grade and gifted. Before this job I was a second and a third grade teacher. I also did lots of other jobs including being a child development center director, a corporate trainer and even a U. S. Army soldier! I am married to my husband, Herb. I have two children who are grown up. My daughter is in the Army and stationed at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. My son lives and works in San Francisco, California. I also have a five year old daughter, Breha.
I love to watch college football and basketball and visit the local Goodwill as often as I can. I also attend an awesome church in Snellville, Georgia every Sunday (and as many other days in the week I can)!
I just recently started my blog after taking a communication class for my Educational Specialist degree through Piedmont College. I'm excited about taking on a blog as I sadly deleted my classroom webpage a while back because it got to be so large and hard to keep up!
